The Kreidl bakery in the town center offers a rich breakfast buffet, very tasty baked goods and cakes from its own confectionery.
You can enjoy coffee, try unusual teas and eat delicious cakes from Thursday to Saturday from 9:00 am at our Café Wandl.
Those who prefer something more traditional will find cakes, ice cream and pastries at the Café Chiemgau confectionery .

Directly above the Klausmeisterhof lies the Weingarten mountain inn . Susi and Franz cook the finest Bavarian food there in their family-run establishment. And there's a fantastic view across the entire valley as well.
A little further up the hill, the Unternberg Hof serves international cuisine:
Anyone looking for a delicious meal in town will find what they're looking for at the restaurant of the Hotel zur Post .
The Indian restaurant Safran, opposite Café Wandl, is very authentic. And they even deliver right to our farm.
For those who prefer Italian food, Bell Ponte offers pizza just like in Italy. It's also great for takeaway.
Other possibilities
Ruhpolding and the Chiemgau region have a lot to offer in every season.
Our farm is located right at the foot of the Unternberg mountain; in winter, ski-in/ski-out access is possible with touring skis. The lifts of Meine Bergwelt are right next door for all those who love alpine slopes. And of course, cross-country ski trails as far as the eye can see, weather permitting.
You can reach the summit of the Unternberg from our location in 90 minutes on foot or comfortably by chairlift. There, we recommend the Unternberg Alm – a modern take on the traditional alpine pasture. You can enjoy wonderful food, sip cocktails, or simply take in the breathtaking view.
Lake Chiemsee is only 25 minutes away. If you like, you can explore three islands by boat , or simply go for a swim. For a delicious burger on the way, you can either visit Pura (which offers vegan/vegetarian options) or Bully Bar in Übersee.
Enjoying a delicious meal in a modern alpine setting and hiking too high is possible at the Stubn in the Frasdorfer Hütte . They offer a fantastic wine list and a choice of 3-6 course menus.
